We are a start-up accelerator with roots in Geesthacht. Our mission is to support startups in their early stages by providing resources, mentoring, and networks to accelerate the growth and success of the companies we support. Our work is supported by strong partners from the region.
Economic development is crucial for the future and prosperity of our region. With the Herzogtum Lauenburg District Economic Development Agency and the Geesthacht Innovation and Technology Center, we have created two important institutions that promote the economic success of the region.
The new start-up accelerator DyNobel is an important initiative that particularly strengthens the internal potential of the region. Through targeted support and networking, we enable young entrepreneurs and founders to successfully implement their ideas and projects.
The accelerator works closely with the Geesthacht Innovation and Technology Center and the planned Innovation and Science Park to make optimal use of synergies.
Our goal is to create a dynamic environment that strengthens our region’s innovative power and secures jobs in the long term. I am convinced that these initiatives will increase our region’s competitiveness and promote economic development.
The name of our accelerator, DyNobel, is a combination of the words “dynamite” and “Nobel.” This means that we focus on innovation, dynamism, and excellence—in keeping with the spirit of the world-famous inventor and philanthropist Alfred Nobel. Alfred Nobel laid the foundation for his success and fortune at our site in Geesthacht on the Elbe River. It was here that the Swede invented dynamite, an innovation that changed the world and quickly made him famous worldwide.
